You didn't dare turn around, even if it was someone you knew. You kept running, but so did whoever was following you. 'What if they just want to beat me up while I'm in this state? Wait, why would someone pursue me with so much effort if they were just going to beat me up?!'

        "Wait, dude ! Come back !" it was Alfred.

'Alfred?! He was the one following me?' you slowed down a bit, knowing he wouldn't hurt you, and he caught up to you. He latched his strong hand onto your elbow and kept you still. You struggled to get away, but man- he was strong!

"_________, dude, it's okay!" He stated. You didn't know what to do so you faced him. He was showing off a cocky grin, but his baby blue eyes were soft and sympathetic. He pulled you into his toned chest and just held you until you got yourself together enough to look straight into his eyes. "It's okay..." he whispered before he brought his lips onto yours. Your eyes got wide right away, but you quickly melted into the kiss. You weren't surprised to find that his mouth tasted of hamburgers and milkshakes, seeing as he ate about a million of both every day. His kiss unfortunately ceased because of your lungs dying of air. But as soon as you'd caught your breath, he pulled you in for another affectionate kiss. You didn't want to hurt his feelings, but you knew that you shouldn't be passionately displaying your affection for each other in such a public place.

"Alfred?" you said into his lips before you pulled away.

"What? did I do something wrong?" he tilted his head innocently before his expression went from one of love to one of horror. "You don't like me, do you? I'm sorry! I should've known!" he took a step away from you and hung his head in shame.

You didn't know what to say. You liked him as more than a friend, but you didn't want to say it. "I love you too, Alfie..." he grabbed your hand and started walking back to your classroom. about halfway there, you noticed him rubbing his lips with his free hand. He had a worried expression on his adorable face.

"What's wrong?" you stopped to face the blonde, who took his hand away from his mouth and gave you a guilty look.

"My lips just kind of hurt..." he rubbed his neck in embarrassment. You just giggled at the cute face he was making. "Hey, ________?" you looked up at him as he continued, "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" you blushed bright red before you nodded. "Cool! You free on Friday night?!"

"Yes, I think I am!" you happily smiled back at him and the two of you continued your walk back to class. You hadn't realised it, but you had run pretty far away from the room. Once you arrived at your destination, Alfred looked at you before he opened the door. You moved you free hand from your side to clutching his arm tightly with both hands, awaiting the class' reaction to your tear stained face. When you and Alfred walked in, no one even glanced at you as he walked you back to your seat. You sat down at your desk and clutched your notebook to you chest, glad that it went untouched. Before he left, Alfred gave you a swift peck on the head which caused you to blush.

Only five minutes later, a note was passed back to you. It didn't say who it was from, and you didn't see who had passed it. You cautiously opened it to see the words 'I love you!' with a little heart scribbled besides the messy handwriting. You looked up and saw Alfred smirking at you, which made you blush in response. You had a boyfriend, and he couldn't be any better than he was.
